Supermarkets in Spain
In general, supermarkets in Spain are used less frequently by locals than they would be in other countries. This is due to the fact that market culture is still prevalent in Spain. Spaniards are more likely to go to the market to buy their weekly meat, fish and other fresh goods. They will then head to supermarkets to buy essentials such as household cleaning products and dried goods. However, it is still possible to do an entire shop and get everything that you need in one supermarket below you will see that the variety and options available vary depending on which supermarket you choose.
